Mackenzie Miller - Communications Coordinator - Mackenzie Miller, originally from Pennsylvania, United States, currently resides in Hualien, Taiwan, where she is pursuing a master's degree in ethnic relations and culture at National Dong Hwa University with scholarship aid from the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. She previously studied English and journalism with a minor in international studies at Goshen College. Mackenzie began studying Mandarin Chinese in high school, which led her to spend a year in Nanjing, China, in 2019. Having worked in the fields of journalism and international education, Mackenzie is eager to explore Indigenous culture in Taiwan through an anthropological lens. She is an invested storyteller, passionate about grounding narratives in the overlooked voices of others as a tool for cultural and linguistic preservation.
